Auto-correct it

Auto-formatting.  It's something I love to hate in Word.

In my experience it pops up at the most unexpected moments, when I have no need for it at all.  And then when I do need it do you think it's anywhere to be found?

Well, the remedy for my second complaint will probably be found in me getting more familiar with it, but I came across a nice little tip to solve the first.

To auto-correct auto-formatting you can just use the standard undo.

Yes, Ctrl +Z (or CMD + Z for the Apple fans).

That's all there is to it.  Annoyance minimised!

(You can buy this great print by Itwo from www.fancy.com)

Got any tips to share?  I'd love to hear them.  You'd be helping me out on my quest to learn something new every day in 2013.  Thanks!

Learn something new everyday!

This is my goal for 2013.
We're getting stuck into SharePoint 2010 here, so chances are it will be something about that!  But I'm open to anything the world has to teach me this year.

And since school is going back this week, it seems appropriate to kick that off now.

(A big hi to the 'big' kids I know starting school this year!! Have an awesome time learning stuff!!  And to the teachers I know...my commiserations ;)

What are you learning this year?

Have a good day!!
